i got a job in abuja and worked for a month and two weeks. the experience was great, all the frustrations and challenges included. i wanted experience working with a magazine and that's what i got. at the magazine, i worked as a marketer, sourcing for advertisers and distributors. i had no success nailing an actual advertiser, just promises to advertise in the next quarter. i did however get five distributors in different states for the mag. i loved the lack of routine and the opportunity to meet many people and especially the opportunity to practice my marketing skills. most of all the freedom of no parents. i cant wait to have my own house and great job. more tales from abuja to come soon
